Course application and confirmation.

Call or email us to book a date and time and we’ll confirm with you within 24 hours. You only need a

minimum of 6 trainees per class. You have a choice of training at our training centre or your venue of choice.

Confirmation of classes are to be submitted 2 weeks before class commences.

If the number of trainees is less than 6 people, First Rescue Asia reserves the right to cancel the course or postpone the course commencement date.

Course payment

First Rescue Asia will issue an invoice to the participating companies for the course payments.

All payment are strictly non refundable and must be made at least 7 days before course commencement, failing which First Rescue Asia reserves the right to cancel or postpone the class.

Individuals who do not apply for funding are allowed to make cash payment. A receipt will be issued for all cash and cheque payments.

Crossed cheques should be made out to “First Rescue Asia“. Kindly write the the Company/trainee(s) name, course title, course date and contact number on the reverse side of the cheque.

 

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Training Grants and Absentee Payroll.

Companies who are applying for the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) training grant/absentee payroll are required to pay the full amount to us by company cheque or electronic transaction.

Applicant companies must log on to the SkillsConnect system using  SINGPASS to make enrolment for their staff. The full course fee shall be borne by the company in the event that funding is not granted.

The trainee(s) must meet the following conditions of eligibility before the Training Assistance may be awarded to the company.

1. Trainee must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore.

2. Trainee must be a person employed by your company.

3. Trainee must complete the full course whilst in your company’s employment.

4. Trainee must fulfill such other conditions of eligibility to SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) schemes which may be amended, revised,        modified or varied from time to time.

5. The portion of the course fee not supported by the Training Grant is to be borne by the company and not the trainee or any other persons.

It is at the sole discretion of SkillsFuture (SSG) to disburse the training assistance. 

Replacement / Deferment

Any replacement or deferment have to be made in writing  at least a week before course commences

Attendance and Examination

75% attendance is required to sit for the examination.

Trainee absenteeism, lateness or leaving before class ends proper (without valid medical reason) will not be accepted. Reasons based on compassionate grounds will be accepted on a case by case basis.

Trainees who fail their theory examination at the 1st attempt will be allowed a 2nd attempt on the same day. Trainees who fail the 2nd attempt will need to re-sit for another examination at a later date. The re-exam fee is SGD35.

Medical Condition

Trainees with any medical conditions are to be certified fit by their own doctors before the course commences.

First Rescue Asia holds no responsibility for any injuries sustained during the course.

Pregnant ladies and persons with disabilities will be allowed to participate in the course on a case by case basis.

Certification

A certificate will be awarded to trainees who have passed both theory and practical examinations.

Certificates will be issued upon completion and grading of the course and only after full payment has been processed.

Certificates issued are serialised. To replace any lost certificate, a replacement/administrative fee of SGD35 will be levied. Letter of request stating reasons are to be submitted before replacement is approved.

Certificates for the Basic First Aid and CPR for the Community and Workplace, Basic First Aid and First Aid Training for Childcare /Infantcare Personnel is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

Miscellaneous Information

Trainees are encouraged to dress comfortably for training sessions, practical simulations and floorwork.

Trainees are encouraged to read the course text before attending. Course text will be given a week before course commences.
